SMSGT giving back to the community
SMS Global Technologies Inc., had signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Office of Civil Defense, Department of National Defense to establish an Intelligent Operations Center to be known as NDRRMC Operations Center in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City. This facility is intended to be the core center in providing any-to-any video, audio and data communications services to connect the country's 17 regions with the central NDRRMC Offices. SMSGT conceptualized the center and the network design and shall lead the integration of donors and communications systems to build and complete this facility as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility Program.
This project was initiated by SMSGT in response to the clamor of its Partner's, Principal's and Associates' intention to help
the country in the aftermath of the onslaught of Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan), the world strongest typhoon in history, where SMSGT's
core competence in the Telecom and IT Systems Integration will be put into use. The NDRRMC new intelligent center is expected to be finished this 2017.
SMS Global Technologies, Inc. (SMSGT) proudly announces its certification to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management Systems.
TÜV Rheinland Philippines Inc., (TUVR) an accredited third-party certification body, conducted a two-phase comprehensive systems audit on October 2 & 3 and November 3-8, 2017. This covered every aspect of operations at SMSGT Main Office in Pasig City, namely, Provision of Design, Engineering, Supply, Integration, Maintenance and Support of Business Solutions Services in telecoms, Network & Information Technology.
Upon fulfillment and submission of documentation requirements for all its audit findings, TUVR determined that SMSGT has an established integrated management system (IMS) in conformance with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management Systems. SMSGT was recommended for certification through a confirmation letter which was awarded to SMSGT President Anthony Christian S. Angeles by TUVR Managing Director Tristan Arwen G. Loveres on December 13, 2017 at Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan during SMSGT’s 2017 year-end party.
In February 2018, SMSGT officially received its ISO certification for both standards from TUVR.

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 (Information Security Management Systems) specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system within the context of the organization. It also includes requirements for the assessment and treatment of information security risks tailored to the needs of the organization.
